Where: “Pick” your “mushrooms” at 26 Marin Street (at Clorinda), San Rafael
What: 300+ hand-painted “mushrooms” made from bio-degradable champagne corks and water-soluble paints – earth friendly!
Who: Gerstle Park participants of all ages!
Why: To celebrate Earth Week 2026, “plant” them in your yard or wherever you travel (worldwide!) and leave them for others to “pick”, “hunt for” and enjoy
Bonus This Year: Adhesive mushroom fingernail stickers for anyone who asks
Fun Fact: These mushrooms have been “planted” throughout Marin, and many participants have brought them to “plant” as they traveled all the way to Los Angeles, Hawaii, Idaho, New York and even to Malawi, Africa!
